6,800-gallon free-form pool called “The Desert Falls”

The Desert Falls is a free-form, untamed fiberglass swimming pool that San Juan Pools created to accurately imitate The Desert Springs. The Desert Falls offers the swimmer sweeping sidewalls and a straightforward interior pool design, much like its sister model. Apart from their similarities, the different models differ greatly from each other.

To begin with, the Desert Falls offers just one sunbathing ledge for beach access (while the Desert Springs includes three). This reduces the amount of space available for relaxing or adding water features, but it frees up the pool area for your visitors to play and cool down. Secondly, there is no associated spa at the Desert Falls. In order to maximize the swim area in this fiberglass swimming pool, we performed this change.

The similarities between Desert Springs and Desert Falls

But their outer look is what most resembles these two models. The two appear to have remarkably similar footprints from above, having the same depth, surface area, and water volume. Therefore, the one and only question you need to ask is which pool offers you the characteristics you need.

Tanning Ledge With Attachment and Multiple Uses

It’s important to note the Desert Falls‘ beach entry sunbathing ledge. This is a large ledge that gives you a fantastic area to construct a stunning water feature or lay a Ledge Lounger (pool furniture). A tanning ledge is a terrific way to expand your outdoor living space whatever you choose to use it.

When combined with LED lighting, tanning ledges boost the overall appeal of your fiberglass swimming pool and can provide breathtaking nocturnal displays!

Bench seating at the 6′ 1.25″ deep end

As previously mentioned, the Desert Falls’ deep end measures exactly 6′ 1.25′′, just like its sister, the Desert Springs. Additionally, we have a cozy swim out couch built into the deep end wall’s curve. This little bench seat may accommodate one swimmer and serve as a place to rest between those swimming sessions.

The Attributes

As a result of its free form design, the Desert Falls is a highly well-liked pool model that offers the user a great deal of freedom. Its deepest part is 6 feet 1.25 inches, and its overall length is 28 feet 9.75 inches. 

For homes with reasonable amounts of backyard space, this pool is extremely popular.

We describe this pool as a Medium Sized Fiberglass Pool since it needs a total of 295 SQFT of surface area as well as 6,800 gallons of total volume of water.

Last but not least, the Desert Falls use a Standard Hopper, meaning it gently slopes from shallow to deep end. The deep end swim out bench and the tanning ledge both offer comfy places to sit. In comparison to the Desert Springs model, we’ve reduced the amount of tanning ledges (to just 1) and eliminated the spa, giving the pool more space. With everything the Desert Falls has to offer, you’re sure to enjoy it!
